Take in the View. Get Real Perspective on Your Life.

Something big is happening. You’ve handled so much already, but lately it’s feeling like a lot. Your life looks good on paper, yet you catch yourself wondering:

Is there something I’m missing?
Is my life really aligned with my own authenticity?
How do I put the pieces back together after what just happened?

A Therapy Retreat Day gives you luxurious time in nature to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

It’s therapy that stretches beyond the hour—so you can follow one insight into another, until something clicks.

Why a Retreat Day?

You deserve the time and space to go deeper.

This is for you if you…

  • Wish the therapy hour didn’t stop at 60 minutes.

  • Struggle to make time for weekly sessions.

  • Crave a quiet place to think, feel, and reconnect.

  • Love the satisfaction of insight building on insight.

Here, you’ll have an entire day in a hundred-year-old cottage overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The space was created specifically for this kind of work—private, beautiful, and surrounded by forest.

The surrounding nature will remind you of your own.

A Therapy Day, Customized

No two therapy retreats are alike. Together, we’ll design a day that meets your unique needs, preferences, and desires.

You can choose adjunctive therapies such as massage, reiki, guided imagery, forest bathing, tarot, or meditation—curated to support your emotional work.

Possible themes for your retreat:

  • Examine your relationship with work and values.

  • Create a trauma timeline and a triumph timeline.

  • Explore your family narrative and what it reveals.

  • Draft a values manifesto for your wellness.

  • Reconnect with joy, worthiness, and belonging.

This is therapy, nestled in the country and walking through the woods.

A day that changes everything.

How the Work Happens

Ginelle practices integrative feminist analytic psychotherapy—an approach that’s both intuitive and intentional. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities, always with consent and customization at the heart of the process.

This means:

  • The questions asked and the directions explored are on purpose.

  • You are not just talking—you are engaging in deep, meaningful work.

  • Your day is built to match your pace, personality, and healing style.

It doesn’t have to be painful to be powerful. Sometimes change comes through laughter, beauty, and the simple act of remembering who the f*** you are.

About Ginelle

Hi, I’m Ginelle Krummey, LCMHC—and I’m a therapy nerd.

I love witnessing “aha” moments and hearing, “I’ve never made that connection before…”

For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked across schools, hospitals, and community settings, serving people from every walk of life.

I use an integrative feminist lens to help people of all genders create stability, growth, and capacity for change.

Our shared goal isn’t perfection—it’s awareness, self-compassion, and the freedom to make choices that feel authentic.

What to Expect

You’ll begin with a consultation call to plan your retreat’s focus and rhythm.
Each day includes preparation work beforehand and an integration session afterward.

During your retreat:

  • A private forest and garden are available for walks or outdoor sessions.

  • Lunch is delivered so you can stay present and relaxed.

  • The cottage is stocked with fresh flowers and small comforts.

This is a novel, memorable experience—one you’ll want to return to yearly or seasonally as a ritual of reflection.

How Life Might Feel After

Beyond what you’d get from a standard therapy hour:

  • Clarity. A new way to make decisions without spiraling in indecision.

  • Organization. A clear set of goals instead of vague intentions.

  • Motivation. A tangible memory you can return to when you lose your way.

  • Insight. New perspectives that shift how you live and love.
